I see leaves of green...

Well, two of the ten trees are actually trying to grow! The Sargeant Crabapple (in the foreground) and the Arrowwood Virbinium (nearest the fence).

We shall see with the others. They're still pliable and haven't died completely, so we shall give them as much time as they need to start growing.

They have such magic sounding names. Have you planted them yet?

Actually, we're thinking of just letting these two get some well established roots for a year and planting them next spring. They were litterally twigs when we got them, the Crabapple didn't have a single root on it, and the Arrowwood was just a taproot and a twig. Sadly, these are the only two out of the ten that have done anything. Winslow (where we're at) is a bit of a miro-climate and I dont think the Arbor Day Foundation took that into account when they selected the trees.
